Romeo is one of 3 dogs that are heartworm positive currently at the rescue. The treatment is very costly and we rely heavily on donations to be able to treat the medical needs of incoming dogs. Please consider helping us and donating to the rescue. To donate, click here.
Please help Last Chance Rescue raise funds to purchase a used transport van. Last Chance Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue that is in desperate need of a reliable means to transport dogs from high kill shelters to the rescue.
The van doesn’t have to be fancy, it just has to get animals out of dangerous and deadly situations into the loving arms the rescue can provide. To help us get our used van please donate, and share and you can play a vital part in saving countless lives.
The volunteers at Last Chance Rescue have used the previous transport van to pick up hundreds of dogs just days before they were euthanized, we’ve used it to take eager fosters to adoption events where they were adopted into happy loving homes. We’ve used it to travel all over the state to emergency situations, rescuing neglected, abandoned, injured and abused animals.
And now all that is at stake because our van is broken beyond repair. In order to keep saving lives and giving second chances to these animals, we need a new van and we need YOU to help us get it.
This litter of 9 were rescued just before that blast of arctic air came through otherwise they would have surely died. Their owner had no food to feed them, as a result had put them outside to fend for themselves. They are definitely in rough condition, 3 of them with double cherry eye, a 4th pup with one cherry eye. They were absolutely starving. Now gaining weight quickly their poor bodies cannot support the weight as you can see the pup with rickets. His bones are literally bending under the weight of his body making it difficult for him to walk more than a few feet. Majority of the pups are afflicted with this condition. They are so lucky to have been rescued. Now comes the task of restoring them to good health and repairing their eyes which is quite costly. We are a non profit rescue, your donations provides food, medical, supplies for precious souls like these innocent babies. Please help us to help them and consider donating.
